Juliana Novaes is pursuing a PhD related to Artificial Intelligence at the University of Leeds, where her research focuses on the application of Artificial Intelligence standards in government and the public sector. As a Latin American woman, she has a strong interest in addressing digital development issues in developing countries, and her work in digital development has led her to become a member of the Brazilian delegation to the ITU World Telecommunication Development Conference and a member of the Board of Directors of the ITU's "Generation Connect". She is a mentor for the Brazilian Youth Initiative, launched by the Brazilian Internet Steering Committee, and has published several research papers in Portuguese and English.

朱莉安娜·诺瓦埃斯在利兹大学攻读与人工智能相关的博士学位，她的研究聚焦于人工智能标准在政府和公共部门的应用。作为一名拉丁美洲女性，她对解决发展中国家的数字发展问题有着浓厚的兴趣，在数字发展方向的工作促使她成为国际电信联盟世界电信发展大会的巴西代表团成员和国际电信联盟“连接世代”董事会成员。她是巴西互联网指导委员会发起的“巴西青年倡议”导师，曾发表多篇葡萄牙语与英语研究论文。
