Hassan Al-Shama: Finding balance between human intelligence and AI
Human creativity has a central role in turning AI's potential into practical benefits, according to Hassan Al-Shama, founder and CEO of the SupraOS and Hylman Group.
Speaking on the sidelines of the 2026 World Internet Conference Wuzhen Summit, Al-Shama highlighted the significance of openness in creating solutions that benefit different sectors.
He discussed the role of intelligence and scientific expertise in AI development and shared his hope for young people who engage with AI technology.
He encouraged the younger generation to approach AI with an open mind and to explore its applications through practice, developing a balanced relationship with the technology.
The World Internet Conference (WIC) was established as an international organization on July 12, 2022, headquartered in Beijing, China. It was jointly initiated by Global System for Mobile Communication Association (GSMA), National Computer Network Emergency Response Technical Team/Coordination Center of China (CNCERT), China Internet Network Information Center (CNNIC), Alibaba Group, Tencent, and Zhijiang Lab.
