The 2026 WIC Wuzhen Summit Participant Guide (II)

I. Summit Badge

1. What types of badges are available?

Three types of badges are issued: 

Guest Badge, Invited Audience Badge and Professional Visitor Badge.

Guests can attend all Summit events that are not by invitation only.

Invited Audiences may watch the live stream of the Opening Ceremony and Main Forum at Wuzhen Grand Theater, attend relevant open sessions held in Wuzhen Town and Puyuan Town, and visit the Light of Internet Expo and the Science and Technology Museum from November 2 to 5 (except on the morning of November 3).

Professional Visitors may attend relevant open sessions held in Wuzhen Town and Puyuan Town, and visit the Light of Internet Expo and the Science and Technology Museum from November 2 to 5 (except on the morning of November 3).

2. Is the badge required to enter the venue?

Yes. All participants are required to wear their badges whenever entering and exiting the venues and scenic areas during the Summit.

Please keep the badge properly.

3. When does on-site registration begin and how can badges be collected?

Registration for the Summit starts at 9:00 on November 2. Guests may collect their badges at the registration desk with their ID cards or passports used during the online registration.

For the Guests who will be invited to participate in an event on November 2, specific instructions will be notified separately.

Invited Audiences and Professional Visitors should contact the liaison designated by their invitation channel for badge collection. Please refer to the specific instructions for details.

II. Accommodation

4. How is accommodation arranged for Guests?

The organizer will centrally arrange guests’ accommodation and assist guests with booking. Based on the access hours of the Xizha Scenic Area of Wuzhen Town, the organizer will assist guests with booking 4 days (3 nights) of accommodation from November 2 to 5.

Check-in: After 9:00 on November 2

Check-out: Before 14:00 on November 5

5. How is accommodation arranged for Invited Audiences and Professional Visitors?

Invited Audiences and Professional Visitors are advised to book their own accommodation through the “Wuzhen Summit Visitor Reservation Platform” mini-program. They may also book through other channels.

III. Transportation

6. Transportation arrangements for Guests

By air: 

Hangzhou Xiaoshan International Airport (HGH) and Jiaxing Nanhu Airport (JNH) are recommended.

By high-speed rail: 

Hangzhoudong (Hangzhou East) Railway Station, Tongxiang Railway Station or Shanghai Hongqiao Railway Station are recommended.

The organizer will arrange shuttle services from airports or railway stations to Wuzhen.

For the guests arriving by private car, they must park at the Wuzhen Ziye West Road Parking Lot, and then take the shuttle bus from there to the venue.

7. Transportation arrangements for Invited Audiences and Professional Visitors

By air: 

Hangzhou Xiaoshan International Airport (HGH) and Jiaxing Nanhu Airport (JNH) are recommended.

By high-speed rail: 

Hangzhoudong (Hangzhou East) Railway Station, Tongxiang Railway Station or Shanghai Hongqiao Railway Station are recommended.

For the audiences arriving by private car or staying in the downtown area of Tongxiang City, they may go to Tongxiang Li-Ning Sports Park and take the shuttle bus to Wuzhen.

8. How to check venue locations and transportation routes?

Participants can use the navigation function of the “Wuzhen Summit Visitor Reservation Platform” mini-program to check venue locations, routes to events, and transportation information. During the Summit, temporary traffic control may be implemented on some roads in the scenic area and town area of Wuzhen, as well as the surrounding areas. Please plan the itinerary in advance. Specific arrangements are subject to relevant announcements and on-site guidance.

IV. Meals

9. How will meals be arranged for Guests?

Guests should dine at the venues indicated on their meal vouchers, which will be provided upon on-site registration.

10. Will halal meals be available for Guests?

Halal meals will be available at the Bibo Lang Restaurant, located in the Waterside Resort in the Xizha Scenic Area during the Summit.

Please indicate the dietary preference via “Registration System >Participant Information > Halal or not” and also confirm it with on-site staff.

11. How will meals be arranged for Invited Audiences and Professional Visitors?

During the Summit, dining services will be available, including restaurants and specialty snack outlets. Invited Audiences and Professional Visitors can view dining options through the “Wuzhen Summit Visitor Reservation Platform” mini-program under “Summit Services - Into Tongxiang”, and dine on their own as guided.

V. Medical Services

12. How to obtain medical assistance during the Summit?

The organizer provides medical support services for participants. Participants can search for “Tongyi Huhang” (桐医护航) via the WeChat mini-program. Within the Wuzhen Xizha Scenic Area, the mini-program displays the location information of each medical station and the mobile phone numbers of doctors. Participants can tap the navigation button to go to a medical station and receive medical services.

13. How to obtain information about events during the Wuzhen Summit?

Participants can use the “Wuzhen Summit Visitor Reservation Platform” mini-program to view event information.

14. Friendly reminder

The paths within the Xizha Scenic Area of Wuzhen Town are stone-paved. Comfortable, walking-friendly shoes are recommended.

Weather conditions in November may vary, with occasional drops in temperature. Please dress appropriately and bring warm clothing.
