State Grid Zhenjiang develops AI agent to streamline photovoltaic settlement

Using the "Sudian Zhiban" (Smart Power Companion) platform and tailored to local photovoltaic (PV) settlement scenarios, State Grid Zhenjiang Power Supply Co (State Grid Zhenjiang) has independently developed the "Lightning Audit" AI agent for PV settlement invoicing. This solution reduces the review time for PV grid-connected electricity settlement, ensuring that PV power generation revenues are paid on time and in full.

At present, more than 63,000 PV projects of various types are already in operation across Zhenjiang. With the continued advancement of large-scale PV development across entire villages and industrial parks, the number of settlement users and the volume of documentation are expected to grow further. Currently, PV settlement auditing relies primarily on manual verification, with each invoice taking approximately 20 seconds to review. This translates to nearly 40 hours of audit labor per month, placing considerable strain on staff members.

To address this operational challenge, State Grid Zhenjiang utilized the "Sudian Zhiban" platform to independently develop the "Lightning Audit" AI agent for PV settlement invoicing. Staff members simply need to import settlement data from the marketing and financial systems, and the AI agent automatically performs a comprehensive data comparison and verification, followed by batch approval. For documents with discrepancies, the system automatically flags issues and forwards them for manual review, establishing a fully automated closed-loop process for settlement invoice auditing.

Since the launch of the "Lightning Audit" feature, the efficiency of PV settlement invoice review has increased more than 20-fold. Tasks that previously took four to five working days can now be completed in approximately two hours. This not only reduces the workload of frontline financial staff members but also enables PV users to receive their generation revenue more quickly, supporting the high-quality development of the province's PV industry through digital services.
