Media tour ahead of 2026 WIC Digital Silk Road Development Forum highlights Xi’an’s intelligent manufacturing
The 2026 WIC Digital Silk Road Development Forum will take place on July 21-22 in Xi'an, capital of Northwest China's Shaanxi province, bringing together global perspectives on digital innovation and cooperation.
Ahead of the forum, a media tour to the green-tech ShaanGu Group offered participants a closer look at how digital technologies are being applied in intelligent manufacturing and industrial operations.
By integrating smart manufacturing systems, industrial internet technologies and digital solutions, the company showcases innovative approaches to improving industrial efficiency and promoting sustainable development.

The World Internet Conference (WIC) was established as an international organization on July 12, 2022, headquartered in Beijing, China. It was jointly initiated by Global System for Mobile Communication Association (GSMA), National Computer Network Emergency Response Technical Team/Coordination Center of China (CNCERT), China Internet Network Information Center (CNNIC), Alibaba Group, Tencent, and Zhijiang Lab.
