Ren Xianliang, secretary-general of the World Internet Conference (WIC), met with a delegation led by Himadrish Suwan, chairman of the Confederation of Young Leaders of India — an institutional member of WIC — in Beijing on May 28.

Ren welcomed the delegation and extended his congratulations on the 10th anniversary of the Confederation of Young Leaders of India.
Ren briefed the visitors on the recent priorities of the WIC and invited Suwan to attend the WIC Wuzhen Summit and other events later in the year.
He emphasized that the WIC is keen to strengthen its partnership with the confederation, support relevant internet-themed initiatives and foster closer communication and interaction with outstanding internet enterprises, institutions and young talent from India.
Suwan praised the WIC as a vital global platform for dialogue and cooperation in cyberspace — highlighting its active role in advancing global internet governance, digital innovation and youth development.
He said that the confederation is committed to further strengthening collaboration with the WIC, actively promoting the organization's initiatives and leading more exceptional young people from India to participate in future WIC events.
