Robots go to 'college' in Hefei's futuristic training facility
In Hefei, capital city of East China's Anhui province, robots are going to "college" — not for math or physics, but for real-world training.
At this unique pre-training venue for embodied artificial intelligence robots in Hefei, human "teachers" guide nearly 100 robots through replicas of factories, supermarkets and family homes to learn tasks such as sorting, grasping and tidying, fed by massive amounts of action data.

The World Internet Conference (WIC) was established as an international organization on July 12, 2022, headquartered in Beijing, China. It was jointly initiated by Global System for Mobile Communication Association (GSMA), National Computer Network Emergency Response Technical Team/Coordination Center of China (CNCERT), China Internet Network Information Center (CNNIC), Alibaba Group, Tencent, and Zhijiang Lab.
