I. Overview

1. What are the dates and agenda for this year’s Summit?

The 2026 World Internet Conference (WIC) Asia-Pacific Summit will be held from April 13 to 14. Please visit the official website or follow WIC’s official WeChat account for updates.

April 12: Registration Day; Capacity Building on AI and Cybersecurity

April 13: Opening Ceremony (morning); Government-Enterprise Dialogue (by invitation only, midday); Main Forum and Distinguished Contributors Gala (afternoon), and Ministerial Meeting (by invitation only, afternoon)

April 14: AI Security and Governance Forum, AI for Better Life Forum and Forum on the Digitalization and Dissemination of Classical Texts (morning); Forum on Innovation and Application of AI Agent, Digital and Intelligent Health Forum, Digital Finance Forum, and AI Security Themed Salon (afternoon)

2. Where will the Summit be held?

The Summit will be held at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre (HKCEC).

3. What are the official languages of the Summit?

Mandarin and English.

4. Are interpretation services provided?

Yes. Simultaneous interpretation in Chinese and English will be provided for all sessions.

II. Participation

5. How can participants attend the Summit?

Registered participants must first collect their badges and present them for entry.

6. What types of badges are available?

There are three types of badges: Guest Badge, Invited Audience Badge, and Salon Badge.

7. Which activities can guests attend?

Guests may attend all non-invitation-only sessions, including the Opening Ceremony, Main Forum, and Distinguished Contributors Gala on April 13, and all forums on April 14.

8. Can invited audience attend forums they are not specifically invited to?

Invited audience members are required to attend the full-day program on April 14. Those invited to a specific forum should ensure full participation in the respective forum.

Ⅲ. Badges

9. Is a badge required to enter the venue?

Yes. All participants are required to present their badges to enter the venue during the Summit. Please keep your badge secure at all times.

10. Where and when can badges be collected?

Registration will begin at 10:00 on April 12. 

Badges collection for Guests and Invited Audiences: Old Wing, Harbour Road Entrance (Drop-off Area), Badge Collection Counter on the right-hand side of the lobby.

Ⅳ. Visa

11. Is a visa required to attend the Summit?

Non-Chinese citizens are required to obtain a Hong Kong visa, except for those from visa-exempt countries.

V. Other Issues

12. Will reception services be provided?

Participants are responsible for arranging their own travel, accommodation, and meals.

13. How can I access medical assistance during the Summit?

Medical support is available near the venue. If you need assistance, please contact on-site staff. In case of emergency, please call the Hong Kong emergency hotline 999.
