
From April 12 to 14, during the 2026 WIC Asia-Pacific Summit, the WIC Digital Academy (WICDA), in collaboration with the Hong Kong Cybersecurity Professional Association, will jointly host the Capacity Building on AI and Cybersecurity, along with an AI Security-themed Salon. Government officials from developing countries, technical experts and business representatives are invited to gather in Hong Kong for exchanges and discussions, exploring new pathways for the integrated development of AI and cybersecurity.
Since the start of targeted enrollment, the program has attracted applications from government and business representatives from countries and regions including Oman, Ethiopia, Eritrea, Cambodia, Zimbabwe, Myanmar, Sierra Leone, Somalia, Tanzania, and Iraq. Registration is now open globally. Places are limited and will be offered on a first-come, first-served basis.
Leading Lecturers
- Zeng Yi
Co-chair of the Artificial Intelligence Special Committee of the World Internet Conference, member of the United Nations Secretary-General's High-level Advisory Body on Artificial Intelligence and dean of the Beijing Institute of AI Safety and Governance.

He serves on multiple Chinese and international committees related to AI governance, including those of UNESCO, WHO, and National Governance Committee for the New Generation Artificial Intelligence. In 2023, he was named to TIME magazine “100 Most Influential People in AI.” He will deliver a lecture and host a Q&A session on frontier perspectives and international consensus on AI safety and governance.

Co-lead of Standards Program of Artificial Intelligence Special Committee of WIC, chair of International AI Governance Association, former director-general of DIGITALEUROPE.

A seasoned leader in the digital technology sector, he combines a strong technical background and with deep insight into industry trends. He has led international digital technology associations for many years and was appointed Commander of the Order of the British Empire (CBE) for his contributions to the IT industry. He will deliver a lecture and host a Q&A session on AI technology trends and inclusive development.

President of Hangzhou Anheng Low‑Altitude Security Technology and vice president of DAS-Security

He has long been engaged in the fields of cybersecurity, public security, low‑altitude AI security, and intelligent agent security, with extensive research and hands‑on experience in typical security incidents, real-world application scenarios, and intelligent security tools such as Secbot. He will deliver a lecture and host a Q&A session on low-altitude AI security and agent security.
Field Study and Exchange
Leveraging Hong Kong's unique strengths in technological innovation and digital ecosystem development, participants will have the opportunity to visit Hong Kong Cyberport during the program.

At the ABC Service Center, participants will gain an indepth insights into a fullchain platform integrating AI, big data, and cybersecurity, offering comprehensive support from R&D to deployment. At the Digital Tech Centre, participants will experience cuttingedge technologies in an immersive environment and gain a firsthand understanding of “technology for the people”. At the Low-Altitude Economy Hub, participants will explore Hong Kong’s innovative practices and strategic initiatives in the fields of drones and the lowaltitude economy.

The WICDA was officially launched in November 2024 to focus on key areas of the digital development. The goal is to conduct training programs globally, especially for developing countries, to cultivate digital and AI talents, empowering governments and enterprises in their digital and AI transformation, bridging the global digital and AI divide, and fostering the shared benefits of inclusive development.
The World Internet Conference (WIC) was established as an international organization on July 12, 2022, headquartered in Beijing, China. It was jointly initiated by Global System for Mobile Communication Association (GSMA), National Computer Network Emergency Response Technical Team/Coordination Center of China (CNCERT), China Internet Network Information Center (CNNIC), Alibaba Group, Tencent, and Zhijiang Lab.
