João Pedro de Goes Novochadlo is a Brazilian creative technologist and social entrepreneur dedicated to developing public-serving technology, with a focus on empowering often overlooked communities through inclusive and transformative systems. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Advertising and Marketing and a Master’s degree in Social Entrepreneurship from the University of Southern California. Among his multiple impactful projects, João founded the assistive technology startup Veever, which enables blind individuals to navigate public spaces using context-aware voice navigation—a solution already deployed at large-scale festivals and stadiums. He has also spearheaded innovation projects at Club Athletico Paranaense in Brazil, contributing to the establishment of a social foundation and designing initiatives that integrate football, education, and technology to create substantial opportunities for resource-constrained communities.

The World Internet Conference (WIC) was established as an international organization on July 12, 2022, headquartered in Beijing, China. It was jointly initiated by Global System for Mobile Communication Association (GSMA), National Computer Network Emergency Response Technical Team/Coordination Center of China (CNCERT), China Internet Network Information Center (CNNIC), Alibaba Group, Tencent, and Zhijiang Lab.
