Huy Anh Nguyen serves as the Digital Project Manager at Vietnam National Broadcaster (VTV). He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences and Journalism from Université Sorbonne Nouvelle (Paris 3) and Monash University. He is completing his LLM in Law at the University of Bristol, where his research focuses on the policy implications of Artificial Intelligence in the media sector. Over the past five years, Huy Anh Nguyen has led the social media team for the International Department of VTV, overseeing the production and global distribution of English-Vietnamese bilingual content to over 100 countries and regions. As a passionate advocate for media literacy to combat online misinformation and disinformation in Southeast Asia, he helped develop training curricula for ASEAN trainers and frequently contributes to international conferences on related topics. He currently focuses on drafting amendments to the ASEAN Secretariat’s AI Act, where responsibilities include developing pre-registration user training, establishing AI content production guidelines for media organizations, and formulating copyright guidelines.

The World Internet Conference (WIC) was established as an international organization on July 12, 2022, headquartered in Beijing, China. It was jointly initiated by Global System for Mobile Communication Association (GSMA), National Computer Network Emergency Response Technical Team/Coordination Center of China (CNCERT), China Internet Network Information Center (CNNIC), Alibaba Group, Tencent, and Zhijiang Lab.
