Giannina Honorio Heredia is a Peruvian engineer, neuroscientist, and social innovator, dedicated to a core mission of "harnessing technology for social good" in the fields of education, health, and environmental sustainability. She is the founder and CEO of IncluEdu, a pioneering AI-powered platform that has taught sign language to over 10,000 people worldwide, enabling human connection beyond limitations. She is also the Chair of Yapaykuy, an organization committed to transforming services for people with disabilities through digital means, and Tinnitus Peru, which focuses on addressing hearing loss among the elderly using digital tools. Recognized among the 50 Most Powerful Women in Peru by Forbes, MIT Innovators Under 35 Latin America, and honored as a Peruana del Bicentenario, Giannina represents a new generation of scientists using technology to close communication gaps and build an inclusive digital future.

The World Internet Conference (WIC) was established as an international organization on July 12, 2022, headquartered in Beijing, China. It was jointly initiated by Global System for Mobile Communication Association (GSMA), National Computer Network Emergency Response Technical Team/Coordination Center of China (CNCERT), China Internet Network Information Center (CNNIC), Alibaba Group, Tencent, and Zhijiang Lab.
