

Martin Rafael Lopez is a professor of Political Science and International Relations at the Catholic University of La Plata and a Chinese Studies Specialist at the National University of La Plata. His research focuses on the opportunities and challenges of digital inclusion. He has participated in Idea Lab Research Program 2022 on Digital Transformation in China and Latin America of the Fudan-Latin American University Consortium (FLAUC). Additionally, he is involved in the daily operations of the Pro Humanae Vitae Foundation, dedicated to technological innovation, sustainable development, social impact, and education, promoting knowledge democratization and narrowing social, technological, and educational gaps. As an advisor to the Municipality of Magdalena, he has been involved in planning digital transformation policies, enhancing digital literacy among rural youth students, and promoting the modernization of local governments.
The World Internet Conference (WIC) was established as an international organization on July 12, 2022, headquartered in Beijing, China. It was jointly initiated by Global System for Mobile Communication Association (GSMA), National Computer Network Emergency Response Technical Team/Coordination Center of China (CNCERT), China Internet Network Information Center (CNNIC), Alibaba Group, Tencent, and Zhijiang Lab.
