

Dr. Mohammed Alfarra is a board-certified urologist and the founder of Kaun AI, a non-profit organization building an ethical ecosystem for artificial intelligence in medicine and education. With experience across Europe and the Middle East, he leads a global, physician-driven initiative that develops open-source AI tools to support clinical decision-making, improve medical education, and promote equitable access to health knowledge. Under his leadership, Kaun AI has launched early projects in medical education, oncology, and nursing, with active teams and collaborations spanning Germany, Egypt, Rwanda, Saudi Arabia, and emerging partnerships in other countries. His vision is to connect clinicians, researchers, and engineers across borders to ensure that medical AI is trustworthy, inclusive, and accessible worldwide.
The World Internet Conference (WIC) was established as an international organization on July 12, 2022, headquartered in Beijing, China. It was jointly initiated by Global System for Mobile Communication Association (GSMA), National Computer Network Emergency Response Technical Team/Coordination Center of China (CNCERT), China Internet Network Information Center (CNNIC), Alibaba Group, Tencent, and Zhijiang Lab.
