Millenium Anthony
Millenium Anthony was selected as a Generation Connect Youth Envoy at the International Telecommunication Union (ITU) and the Youth Coordinator of the Tanzania Youth Internet Governance Forum, contributing to amplifying young voices in national, regional, and global Internet policy dialogues. She is a member of the Internet Society, actively contributing to its Tanzania Chapter. In 2024, she was selected for the ICANN81 Fellowship Program, engaging deeply in global dialogues on internet infrastructure, governance, and equity. As the founder of StemHer Network Tanzania, Millenium is committed to empowering girls and young women in STEM with essential competencies in digital literacy, online safety, entrepreneurship, and design thinking through mentorship and digital skills training. Over the past three years, Millenium Anthony has been consistently advocating for inclusive digital policies as a youth representative from the Global South and actively advancing youth-centered digital transformation.
The World Internet Conference (WIC) was established as an international organization on July 12, 2022, headquartered in Beijing, China. It was jointly initiated by Global System for Mobile Communication Association (GSMA), National Computer Network Emergency Response Technical Team/Coordination Center of China (CNCERT), China Internet Network Information Center (CNNIC), Alibaba Group, Tencent, and Zhijiang Lab.
