
China has completed the first phase of its 6G technology tests after four consecutive years of tech trials, accumulating a portfolio of more than 300 key technologies, according to the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology.
The announcement marks a significant progress in the global race for next-generation wireless communication.
However, the ministry did not disclose details of the key 6G technologies in research.
The World Internet Conference (WIC) was established as an international organization on July 12, 2022, headquartered in Beijing, China. It was jointly initiated by Global System for Mobile Communication Association (GSMA), National Computer Network Emergency Response Technical Team/Coordination Center of China (CNCERT), China Internet Network Information Center (CNNIC), Alibaba Group, Tencent, and Zhijiang Lab.
