Promoting Global Digital Infrastructure Development and Bridging the Digital Divide
Digital infrastructure is an indispensable public service platform for economic and social development. To advance the inclusive development of global digital infrastructure, World Internet Conference, leveraging its Think Tank Cooperation Program, organized the compilation of Promoting Global Digital Infrastructure Development and Bridging the Digital Divide. The report expounds on the global progress in digital infrastructure development and the current status of the digital divide, conducts an in-depth analysis of the key challenges faced in international cooperation in digital infrastructure development, and puts forward recommendations on promoting international cooperation from the perspectives of countries, international organizations, and industry. It aims to provide a reference for international cooperation in digital infrastructure and contribute to bridging the digital divide.

The World Internet Conference (WIC) was established as an international organization on July 12, 2022, headquartered in Beijing, China. It was jointly initiated by Global System for Mobile Communication Association (GSMA), National Computer Network Emergency Response Technical Team/Coordination Center of China (CNCERT), China Internet Network Information Center (CNNIC), Alibaba Group, Tencent, and Zhijiang Lab.
