
Over the past decade, the World Internet Conference (WIC) Wuzhen Summit has served as a key platform for global internet cooperation and innovation. The event has hosted 189 sub-forums, released more than 140 world-leading sci-tech achievements, and attracted participation from over 4,200 enterprises worldwide. Flagship events such as the "Light of the Internet Expo" and "Straight to Wuzhen" Competition have taken shape, alongside landmark facilities like the Wuzhen Internet International Convention & Exhibition Center. These efforts have advanced inclusive digital services and powered Zhejiang’s transformation from a major cyber province to a leading one.
The World Internet Conference (WIC) was established as an international organization on July 12, 2022, headquartered in Beijing, China. It was jointly initiated by Global System for Mobile Communication Association (GSMA), National Computer Network Emergency Response Technical Team/Coordination Center of China (CNCERT), China Internet Network Information Center (CNNIC), Alibaba Group, Tencent, and Zhijiang Lab.
