Huawei Technologies has launched a new line of wearable and audio products, including smartwatches and headphones, as the Chinese tech giant looks to strengthen its presence in the consumer electronics market.
The Watch GT 6 series features a 46mm model with up to 21 days of battery life and upgraded health monitoring features.
Huawei said the devices use a new high-silicon stacked battery and an enhanced positioning system that improves location accuracy by 20 percent compared to the previous generation.
In addition, Huawei launched the FreeClip 2, an ear-clip style wireless headphone available in denim blue, feather white and modern black.
The device supports voice assistant functions through Huawei's HarmonyOS AI system, offering real-time translation, smart notifications and head-movement controls.
The World Internet Conference (WIC) was established as an international organization on July 12, 2022, headquartered in Beijing, China. It was jointly initiated by Global System for Mobile Communication Association (GSMA), National Computer Network Emergency Response Technical Team/Coordination Center of China (CNCERT), China Internet Network Information Center (CNNIC), Alibaba Group, Tencent, and Zhijiang Lab.
