Zhang Chengming, deputy director of the China National Silk Museum says that the museum has fully digitized its collection and established the Digital Museum of the Silk Road—a platform that now hosts over 6,000 digital cultural artifacts. These resources enable virtual curation and exhibition in an immersive space, greatly enhancing accessibility for international audiences.
By integrating multimedia and contextual digital scenes, the museum aims to enhance global understanding of silk and Silk Road culture, sparking wider public interest and facilitating cross-cultural dialogue.
The World Internet Conference (WIC) was established as an international organization on July 12, 2022, headquartered in Beijing, China. It was jointly initiated by Global System for Mobile Communication Association (GSMA), National Computer Network Emergency Response Technical Team/Coordination Center of China (CNCERT), China Internet Network Information Center (CNNIC), Alibaba Group, Tencent, and Zhijiang Lab.
