II. How to Participate

4. Access to activities

Guests can attend the opening ceremony, main forum, and other open-access activities.
Invited audiences can attend the main forum and other open-access activities.

5. Registration process for guests

Step 1:Receive an invitation code.
Step 2:Use the code to log in to registration system and provide your personal details.

6. Registration process for invited audiences

Invited audiences need to fill in detailed personal information in the registration system to apply for their event badges.

Ⅲ. Forum Badges

7. Types of badges

Two types of badges are issued: GUEST badge and INVITED AUDIENCE badge.

8. Badge requirement

Throughout the forum, all participants are required to wear their badges whenever entering and exiting the venues. Please keep your badge safe and secure at all times.

9. Badge collection

You may collect your badge at your hotel on September 16. The specific collection location will be communicated to you by a liaison officer who will get in touch with you.

You may attend the forum by driving yourself, and the liaison officer will contact you regarding the parking arrangements.

15. Accommodation for guests

Accommodation for guests to the forum from September 16 to 17 will be arranged by the organizer.

16. Accommodation for invited audiences

Invited audiences need to book hotel rooms for themselves. Novotel Xi'an Aden is recommended. 

17. Meal arrangements

Guests: Meal vouchers will be provided.
Invited audiences: Please arrange meals on your own.

Ⅵ. Visa

18. Visa requirement

A Chinese F visa (for exchanges, visits, inspections, etc.) is required for entry, unless you hold a diplomatic passport or are from a visa-exempt country. Please visit the China Consular Service website for detailed information: cs.mfa.gov.cn.

19. Medical service

A medical station will be set up at the venue, with nearby hospitals on standby. Please contact staff if you need any assistance.

The World Internet Conference (WIC) was established as an international organization on July 12, 2022, headquartered in Beijing, China. It was jointly initiated by Global System for Mobile Communication Association (GSMA), National Computer Network Emergency Response Technical Team/Coordination Center of China (CNCERT), China Internet Network Information Center (CNNIC), Alibaba Group, Tencent, and Zhijiang Lab.
