On December 12, the Secretariat of the World Internet Conference (WIC) held a consultation meeting with key collaborative partners of the newly established WIC Digital Academy to gather insights and suggestions on its future development.

Officials from the WIC Secretariat provided an overview of the academy's launch and highlighted the positive response from various sectors to WIC's capacity-building initiative.

Representatives from partner institutions—including ChinaEU, Alibaba, ZTE Corporation, 360 Group, DAS-Security, Evernote, iFlytek, and Kaspersky—shared their experiences and offered proposals on supporting the academy's growth and leveraging the WIC platform for joint initiatives.

The Digital Academy was inaugurated on Nov 20, during the 2024 WIC Wuzhen Summit, with partners including international organizations, leading universities, and prominent industry players. In 2024, the academy successfully organized several flagship programs, including the Global Elite Training, the Digital Silk Road Cross-Border E-Commerce Training, and the WIC·MIC Salon series.

Looking ahead, the academy will continue to provide comprehensive and specialized training programs to cultivate professionals with broad international perspectives, cutting-edge digital thinking, and advanced skills. It aims to empower countries and enterprises in their digital transformation, help bridge the global digital divide, and foster the shared benefits of inclusive development.
