Light of Internet Expo holds information briefing in Beijing

On July 17, the information briefing for the 2025 World Internet Conference (WIC) Light of Internet Expo was held in Beijing. 
A WIC representative stated that the Light of Internet Expo has been one of the signature events of the Wuzhen Summit with growing professional authority and global influence. The 2025 Light of Internet Expo will work with friends from around the world to gather wisdom and strength to lead new global technology trends, adhere to win-win collaboration to expand new ecosystems for international cooperation, promote innovative-driven growth to ignite fresh vitality in scientific and technological development, and keep service oriented to unleash the potential of international expo.

An official from the Economy and Information Technology Department of Zhejiang stated that the Light of Internet Expo serves as both a global showcase for digital technologies and a launching pad for internet aspirations. The 2025 expo will keep pace with the era of artificial intelligence (AI) and breathe new life into industries through exhibitions. It will showcase the innovative applications of AI empowering various sectors and highlight the role of internet as a catalyst for innovation, progress, and civilization in driving development forward.
An official from the CCPIT Zhejiang stated that the council is committed to helping local enterprises go global and attracting premium international resources. It will continue leveraging its strengths to coordinate corporate participation in key exhibitions, including the Light of Internet Expo, while providing comprehensive and professional services to facilitate cooperation at higher levels and across broader fields.

Officials from the expo's organizer provided a comprehensive overview of its general framework and key events. The 2025 Light of Internet Expo will adhere to the guiding principles of international and professional organization with wide participation of social sectors. Under the theme of "AI Symbiosis, Enlightening the Future," the expo will focus on showcasing AI+ applications through a "1+5" series of activities. These include exhibition, digital innovation releases, industrial talent matching, industrial collaboration matchmaking, "Light of Innovation" series promotion, and internet science popularization. The expo will highlight AI's cross-sector empowerment, its role in driving full industrial chain development, and the intelligent management of the entire exhibition process. It aims to help participating enterprises achieve multidimensional value enhancement and demonstrate the brilliance of digital civilization in a new era.

The global recruitment of exhibitors at the 2025 Light of Internet Expo was also launched at the event. Agreements on intention of cooperation were signed with prominent organizations such as the GSMA, Cyber Security Association of China, China satellite application Industry association, China Internet Investment Fund, Zhejiang Provincial Federation for Science Popularization, China Mobile Smart Home Cooperation Alliance, WeiLian and Data Factor Insights. Furthermore, leading companies including Huawei, Alibaba, Tencent, Zhejiang Lab,China Electronics Corporation, ZTE, Kaspersky, Sugon, Inspur, Ant Group, Qi-Anxin Group, DAS-Security, RUHR loT, ETSME Technology, and Yunqi Technology signed letters of intent to exhibit at the expo. 
Representatives from leading enterprises including Inspur, AliResearch, and SAP delivered thematic presentations, while Vision Valley Of China made a special promotional presentation. They all expressed high anticipation for this year's expo.
Representatives from the WIC, the Economy and Information Technology Department of Zhejiang, the Cyberspace Administration of Zhejiang, the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade Zhejiang Provincial Committee (CCPIT Zhejiang) and Tongxiang Municipal People's Government, as well as representatives from WIC members, exhibitors and partner institutions of the expo attended the activity. Attendees engaged in in-depth discussions regarding the 2025 expo's events and participation benefits.

The 2025 Light of Internet Expo will be held this November in Wuzhen, East China’s Zhejiang province. And the exhibitor registration is now open.
