Focusing on collaborative artificial intelligence (AI) governance on the Digital Silk Road, this report analyzes the significance of forging consensus on AI governance to accelerating the development of the Digital Silk Road, explores the challenges to AI governance, such as insufficient mechanism coordination and lack of an inclusive architecture, and examines the role of cooperation models within bilateral, multilateral and United Nations (UN) frameworks in building a collaborative governance system. Finally, based on the principles of extensive consultation, joint contribution and shared benefits, the report looks ahead to the future of promoting collaborative AI governance on the Digital Silk Road from the perspectives of deepening governance consensus, enhancing governance capacity and promoting inclusive development.
