In recent years, cross-border e-commerce has developed rapidly, becoming a key engine for promoting international trade and global economic growth.

Since establishing the Cross-Border E-Commerce Working Group in 2023, the World Internet Conference (WIC), as an international organization, has remained committed to fostering a platform for sharing best practices in the industry, and  released Collection of Cross-Border E-Commerce Practice Cases (2024) in April last year.

The 2025 cross-border e-commerce case submission portal will close at 18:00 (UTC+8) on July 12.

1. Who Can Submit

We welcome case submissions from a broad range of global stakeholders in the cross-border e-commerce ecosystem, including:
· Government departments
· International and industry organizations
· Digital platforms
· Trading enterprises
· Enterprises across the cross-border e-commerce supply chain, including upstream and downstream players
· Professional service institutions

2. Areas of Focus

Case submissions are accepted across the following key areas:

Government coordination
Innovations in regulation,public services,and coordinated development.

Digital platforms
New business models, value chain empowerment, global services, and green development.

Trade enterprises
Branding strategies, flexible production and manufacturing, and regulatory compliance.

Logistics and distribution
Smart logistics, overseas warehouse innovation, and local delivery optimization.

Comprehensive services
Innovation in financial and integrated support services.

Convergence and innovation
Application of next generation digital technologies, trade and industrial integration.

International cooperation
Partnerships in supply chains, talent development, trade facilitation, and global governance.

Other
Outstanding practices that may not fall into the above categories.

3. Submission Guidelines

Submitted cases must have been implemented or launched in 2022 or later.
Submissions may include text, images, videos, etc.(see full requirements on the submission page)
Submission deadline: 18:00 (UTC+8) on July 12, 2025

Selected cases will be featured in the official WIC 2025 Cross-Border E-Commerce Case Collection, serving as a benchmark for industry best practices.

Outstanding contributors may be invited to join the Cross-Border E-Commerce Specialized Committee, where they can participate in developing industry standards, advancing international cooperation projects, and accessing a global resource network.

✅Invitation to Forums

Select representatives will have the opportunity to present their work at forums and conferences organized by the WIC, engaging with global thought leaders and stakeholders.

It was jointly initiated by Global System for Mobile Communication Association (GSMA), National Computer Network Emergency Response Technical Team/Coordination Center of China (CNCERT), China Internet Network Information Center (CNNIC), Alibaba Group, Tencent, and Zhijiang Lab.
