In recent years, cross-border e-commerce has developed rapidly, becoming a key engine for promoting international trade and global economic growth. It has contributed significantly to the creation of an open, inclusive, and mutually beneficial global marketplace.
In order to promote the best practices of cross-border e-commerce, the World Internet Conference (WIC) released Collection of Cross-Border E-Commerce Practice Cases (2024) in April last year.
The 2025 Cross-Border E-Commerce Case Collection Initiative invites participation from relevant government departments, international organizations, industry associations, digital platforms, trading enterprises, upstream and downstream enterprises in the supply chain, and professional service institutions in the cross-border e-commerce sector. The goal is to showcase innovative practices, outstanding experiences, and proven models from around the world.
This year’s initiative focuses on cases from the following key areas:
- Government coordination
- Digital platforms
- Trade enterprises
- Logistics and distribution
- Comprehensive services
- Convergence and innovation
- International cooperation
- Others
Submissions need to acknowledge and support the mission of the WIC international organization and meet the basic requirements of their chosen category. Cases submitted must have been implemented or launched in 2022 or later.

Step by step submission process
1. Platform registration and login
Visit the World Internet Conference Application and Review Platform.
New users need to register an account while existing users can log in directly.

2. Select the submission category
After logging in, navigate to the "2025 Collection of Cross-Border E-Commerce Practice Cases" section.
3. Fill in the case information
Carefully read and confirm the application guidelines.
Accurately complete all basic information. Provide detailed information as required in the application form.
Upload supporting materials in the specified formats (text, images, videos are accepted).
Complete all additional information fields as required.
You may save your progress at any time during the editing process. Once submitted, the status will change to “Under Review.”

Submission Guidelines
1. Ensure alignment with relevant categories
Applicants may choose one or more of the specified areas. Only one case may be submitted under each selected area.
2. Submitted content must be clear and detailed
Submissions should be well-structured, logically organized, content-rich, and clearly written. All content must be truthful and accurate. If other organizations were involved in the case implementation, their details must also be fully disclosed.
3. Supporting material requirements
Upload moderately sized files to ensure smooth access for reviewers. Each uploaded file should be clearly labeled with relevant information, such as file type and time period.
Case Collection Release
Following expert review, selected cases will be included in the WIC Collection of Cross-Border E-Commerce Practice Cases (2025) and showcased at relevant forums organized by the WIC.

The World Internet Conference (WIC) was established as an international organization on July 12, 2022, headquartered in Beijing, China. It was jointly initiated by Global System for Mobile Communication Association (GSMA), National Computer Network Emergency Response Technical Team/Coordination Center of China (CNCERT), China Internet Network Information Center (CNNIC), Alibaba Group, Tencent, and Zhijiang Lab.
