At the Mobile World Congress 2024(MWC 2024), the Honor Magic V2 RSR Porsche Designwon the prestigious "GLOMO Best in Show" for its advanced folding technology and platform-level AI capabilities. This achievement marked Honor as the first Chinese tech firm to receive this global accolade in five years. Additionally, at MWC's Shanghai 2024, the Honor Magic V2 was awarded the Best Smartphone in Asia.

Amid the AI boom, Honor continues to lead in on-device innovation. As early as 2016, the company pioneered the smartphone AI concept and has strived to enhance consumer experiences with the technology. In September 2024, Honor launched the first AI Agent on Android, bringing smartphones into a new era. The Honor Magic7 series, powered by MagicOS 9.0, has reached the industry's highest L3 intelligence level via the "Terminal Intelligence Grading Test."

In addition, Honor obtained ISO 42001 certification for its trustworthy AI management system, a first for a domestic terminal company. In 2024, Honor further introduced the first-of-its-kind on-device AI-powered anti-fraud technology, AI Face-swapping Detection, to lower users' screen-sharing fraud risks.

The World Internet Conference launched its Distinguished Contribution Award in 2024 to recognize individuals and enterprises that have made outstanding contributions to the global internet sector. The first award ceremony was held at last year's Wuzhen Summit, where seven global leaders and 14 renowned companies were honored.

The award for enterprises is divided into three categories: Social Contribution, Innovation Breakthrough, and Growth Potential. The winners come from diverse sectors, including internet platforms, mobile communications, artificial intelligence, chip design, energy and power, and cybersecurity. The award paints a vibrant and prosperous picture of the global internet ecosystem, encouraging more excellent enterprises to contribute to the development of the internet industry and explore the infinite possibilities of the digital future.
