As a leading domestic developer of large- scale AI models, iFlyteck has continuously upgraded its Spark Model, applying it across a wide-ranging array of industries. On Oct 24, 2024, the company unveiled Spark Model 4.0 Turbo. According to back-to-back tests based on real data, it demonstrated superior performance across seven capabilities compared to GPT-4 Turbo, especially in code generation and mathematical reasoning, where it clearly outperformed GPT-4o.

In 14 mainstream tests released by domestic and international authorities, including the Allen Institute for AI and OpenAI, Spark Model 4.0-Turbo outperformed three major US models — GPT-4o, Claude 3.5 Sonnet, and Gemini 1.5pro. These tests spanned a diverse array of task types, such as comprehension, reasoning, comprehensive exams, mathematics, science, and code- generation. It achieved a remarkable feat by outpacing these models in nine out of the 14 test sets, coupled with a 50 percent improvement in efficiency.

On July 4, 2024, at the 2024 World Artificial Intelligence Conference (WAIC 2024) & High-Level Meeting on Global AI Governance, iFlytek's Spark Smart Blackboard was named among the top 30 winners of the SAIL Award.

iFlytek's Spark has earned recognition at national level. At the 2023 National Science and Technology Awards Conference held in Beijing on June 24, its "Key Technologies and Industrialization of Multi-Language Intelligent Speech project claimed the first prize of the National Science and Technology Progress Award.

Notably, it was the only private enterprise to receive such an honor at this year's National Awards. This marks the first National Science and Technology Progress Award in the AI field over the past decade, since deep learning ignited the global AI boom, underscoring iFlytek's remarkable prowess in the field.

The World Internet Conference launched its Distinguished Contribution Award in 2024 to recognize individuals and enterprises that have made outstanding contributions to the global internet sector. The first award ceremony was held at last year's Wuzhen Summit, where seven global leaders and 14 renowned companies were honored.

The award for enterprises is divided into three categories: Social Contribution, Innovation Breakthrough, and Growth Potential. The winners come from diverse sectors, including internet platforms, mobile communications, artificial intelligence, chip design, energy and power, and cybersecurity. The award paints a vibrant and prosperous picture of the global internet ecosystem, encouraging more excellent enterprises to contribute to the development of the internet industry and explore the infinite possibilities of the digital future.

The World Internet Conference (WIC) was established as an international organization on July 12, 2022, headquartered in Beijing, China. It was jointly initiated by Global System for Mobile Communication Association (GSMA), National Computer Network Emergency Response Technical Team/Coordination Center of China (CNCERT), China Internet Network Information Center (CNNIC), Alibaba Group, Tencent, and Zhijiang Lab.
