The seventh session of the first council of the World Internet Conference (WIC) approved the list of new members, which includes Sichuan Daily Press Group, Li Auto, and Baiwang Co., Ltd. These three members are driving innovation across the media, intelligent manufacturing, and data sectors. They are breaking boundaries and collaborating to inject intelligent elements into global sustainable development, shaping a new paradigm for future smart and interconnected ecosystems.

Sichuan Daily Press Group
Sichuan Daily Press Group was established in 2000 based on the Sichuan Daily Newspaper. In October 2021, the Sichuan Party Periodical Group was fully integrated into the Sichuan Daily Press Group. The group has made significant strides in advancing media integration, focusing on building a comprehensive media communication system. It is accelerating the development of various platforms, including mobile communication, theory promotion, international communication, technological innovation, governance collaboration, and market expansion. The group currently operates 13 newspapers, 13 magazines, 3 mobile apps, 20 websites, 2 mobile newspapers, and over 200 accounts on third-party platforms. Its total newspaper circulation averages around 1.6 million copies, and it boasts over 360 million users on new media platforms, with its international communication accounts reaching over 24 million overseas users. Since 2020, the group’s 27 media products have won China Journalism Awards. It has been recognized as one of the pinoeering leading enterprises in the cultural tourism industry of Sichuan province and been listed among the national culture and technology integration demonstration bases.
Li Auto
Li Auto was founded in 2015 and is headquartered in Beijing, China. It is a global leader in manufacturing new energy intelligent vehicles. The company operates two smart manufacturing bases in Changzhou, Jiangsu province, and Shunyi district in Beijing, where it designs, develops, manufactures, and sells luxury smart electric vehicles. With a brand mission "Create a Mobile home, Create Happiness", Li Auto is listed on both the Nasdaq in the US and the Hong Kong Stock Exchange, and is the first new energy vehicle company in China to achieve cumulative vehicle deliveries exceeding one million units. In December 2024, Li Auto launched its new AI strategy with an updated vision to "connect the physical world and the digital world, becoming a global leading AI enterprise".
Baiwang Co., Ltd.

The World Internet Conference (WIC) was established as an international organization on July 12, 2022, headquartered in Beijing, China. It was jointly initiated by Global System for Mobile Communication Association (GSMA), National Computer Network Emergency Response Technical Team/Coordination Center of China (CNCERT), China Internet Network Information Center (CNNIC), Alibaba Group, Tencent, and Zhijiang Lab.
