The digital economy has become a key force driving the global restructuring of resources, reshaping of economic structures, and profound societal changes. It is in this context that the World Internet Conference Digital Academy (WICDA) was established. Our mission is to create a premier platform for global exchanges on digital transformation, focusing on enhancing leadership skills for management personnel in the digital age. We aim to help organizations and leaders understand internet development trends, explore the characteristics of the digital economy, restructure their business models, and promote the development of responsible AI, in order to advance the inclusive and sustainable growth of the digital economy that can benefit all.
The World Internet Conference (WIC) was established as an international organization on July 12, 2022, headquartered in Beijing, China. It was jointly initiated by Global System for Mobile Communication Association (GSMA), National Computer Network Emergency Response Technical Team/Coordination Center of China (CNCERT), China Internet Network Information Center (CNNIC), Alibaba Group, Tencent, and Zhijiang Lab.
