Global youth leaders paint digital future during Zhejiang trip
From Nov 22 to 24, 2024 World Internet Conference (WIC) Global Youth Leaders concluded their participation in the WIC with a short trip in Zhejiang province. They attended a lecture on global artificial intelligence governance, then visited the Wuzhen World Internet Sci-Tech Museum and Hangzhou Xiaoshan Kuahuqiao Site Museum. Touring Turing Town and Alibaba's global headquarters, they got a firsthand look at China's cutting-edge technologies and innovations. The visit allowed the youth leaders to deepen their understanding of the digital future while sharing insights on the role of youth in shaping the evolving tech landscape.
The World Internet Conference (WIC) was established as an international organization on July 12, 2022, headquartered in Beijing, China. It was jointly initiated by Global System for Mobile Communication Association (GSMA), National Computer Network Emergency Response Technical Team/Coordination Center of China (CNCERT), China Internet Network Information Center (CNNIC), Alibaba Group, Tencent, and Zhijiang Lab.
