Guo He One (cap1400), one of the 16 major science and technology projects in China, represents the advanced level of the world's third-generation nuclear power technology. It is a large-scale advanced nuclear power model with independent intellectual property rights. It has the characteristics of high safety factors, good economic performance, and many innovative achievements.
During the construction of the nuclear power project, many participants, large construction site area, complex working area, and high equipment and material density brought many challenges to safety and quality management. It is against this background that Guo He One nuclear power smart site came into being. The project comprehensively applies several mainstream technologies to realize centralized management during nuclear power project construction, with a visual platform and standardized solution. It takes the lead in completing the construction of the nuclear power smart site following the requirements issued by the National Energy Administration and the Ministry of Ecology and Environment. It is also the first smart construction site project to put the supervision center into use. After the project was put into operation, the safety and quality management level of Guo He One has been effectively improved, with good economic and social benefits. The research content of Guo He One nuclear power smart site fully reflects the characteristics of perception, interconnection, IoT, and intelligence. Its technical architecture is divided into four layers.
The first layer is the technical layer. Make full use of the Internet of things and mobile Internet technologies to improve on-site management and control capabilities. Real-time monitoring, intelligent perception, data acquisition, and efficient coordination of the project construction processes are realized to improve the management ability of the operation site through RFID, sensors, cameras, positioning terminals, and other equipment.
The second layer is the application layer. The realization of various smart site applications is expedited through the smart terminal at the technical level, such as personnel positioning, VR immersive training, quality anti-counterfeiting, AI image recognition, tower crane anti-collision, etc.
The third layer is the data layer. The complex business in the site management process produces a large amount of data, which has a massive demand for the server to provide high-performance computing power and low-cost massive data storage capacity. The application integration is carried out through the smart site platform, and the big data technology is used to efficiently calculate, store and provide data services so that all parties involved in the project can more easily access and use data and work together, making the construction process more intensive, flexible and efficient.
The fourth layer is the intelligence layer. Take project management as the key business of nuclear engineering, analyze and comprehensively display the integrated data, provide multi-dimensional data basis for management at all levels, and support management decisions.
The total number of nuclear power units in China ranks second, and the number of nuclear power units under construction ranks first in the world. There are 47 operating nuclear power units and 15 nuclear power units under construction. With the continuous development of nuclear power plants, nuclear power engineering should gradually develop from traditional management information systems to digital and intelligent collaborative applications. The application of project achievements in the Guo He One project fully enables the IT-based project site construction management, realize the comprehensive supervision of "human, machine, material, method and environment", and ensure the implementation of "two zero tolerance". Moreover, the integrated solution generated under the project has the characteristics of standardization and modularization. It can carry out adaptive transformation according to the requirements of regulatory authorities and the needs of different owners and promote the solution to other nuclear power projects or large-scale infrastructure projects to support the safety and quality management during the construction period.
